1. Chickbid.com only provides a service to people interested in buying and selling poultry and poultry related items via internet auction. We do not have control over the items that are posted in the auction site and cannot guarantee the authenticity and quality of any products. We are not responsible for the actions the users take, before, during, and/or after the auction, or typographical errors, misprints, loss of merchandise/money, damage or failure of equipment, eggs, or live animals due to your visit to this auction site. 
2. You must hold the owners of this site harmless from all claims arising out of any dispute between a buyer, seller or any other user of this site. We serve as an agent to facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for anything contained in the item listings or feedback. In no way may the owners of this site be held liable for improper use by users.
3. We will not be held responsible for any loss or damages caused by errors by the system or the Internet.chickbid.com is not responsible for bids unrecorded due to problems caused by any technical difficulties.
4. Users must not use this site for any fraudulent or illegal purpose. The sale of items such as adult materials, illegal items, firearms, etc is strictly prohibited. Sellers listing such items will be suspended from using this service.
5. You must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter into a binding contract in order to register and/or use this site. You must register under your true name (first and last), true mailing address, and true phone number using a valid email address. If any information is found to be fraudulent or the user is found to be unable to form a binding contract, the user will be suspended.
6. Refrain from the use of user information for any purpose other than the direct contact with that user to complete an auction transaction. Any other use is strictly prohibited. This includes posting the user information anywhere on the Internet and using the information for spamming purposes. Violators will be suspended from using this service.
7. There are no fees to the buyer or seller to use this site or any features within of this site.
8. Users are prohibited from artificially inflating the price of your item by bidding on the item yourself. Bidding must not be tampered with. Bids made by the seller, friends, associates, or family members to artificially drive the price up is strictly prohibited. Violators will be suspended from using our service.
9. We cannot guarantee that sellers will complete the sale of an item, or that buyers will pay for winning bids. All risk is taken by the individual user.
10. When selling an item to conclude the sale with the highest bidder the seller should contact the winning bidder within 48 hours to arrange the exchange of payment and item. Failure to conclude the sale with the highest bidder may result in suspension of your account. When an item is listed for sale, it may not be removed, and it must be available for sale to the winning bidder as described in the listing at auction close.
11. Item descriptions must contain details pertaining to the item up for auction. Items MUST be placed in categories that match the nature of the item. Improperly listed items will be removed without notification and may result in suspension of user privileges. We reserve the right to remove any auction that does not provide other users with a true description of the item.
12. When buying an item to purchase the item upon receiving notification that you are the highest bidder. This includes contacting the seller within 48 hours to arrange the exchange of payment and item. Bidders are responsible for any bids they make. Bids are not retractable. If you bid and it becomes the winning bid, you are obligated to complete the transaction. Failure to complete the transaction will result in suspension of your account. Bid wisely and ask all questions before placing a bid.
13. We reserve the right to edit or remove any auction listing at any time without notice.
14. We reserve the right to suspend the account of any violators of these terms of service. We also reserve the right to refuse or suspend service to anyone at any time for any reason without warning. 
15. It is the responsibility of the user to learn and understand the shipping regulations and policies set forth by the NPIP, USPS, and any other shipper, agency, or governing body concerned with the transfer/shipping of animals or merchandise. chickbid.com will not be responsible for any failure to comply with these regulations. You further agree that the owners of chickbid.com will be held harmless in the event of prosecution pertaining to lack of compliance with above stated regulations and policies.
16. Feedback is permanent and will not be edited or removed except under special circumstances wherein both parties agree. Each user is responsible for the comments he/she makes about other users. Please exhaust all efforts to resolve the issue before leaving feedback. Feedback left by users that are banned will be removed.
17. chickbid.com reserves the right to edit this user agreement at any time without prior warning. Use of this site after such edits constitutes agreement to this policy. Any FAQs, rules, policies, fee schedules, instructions, and privacy policy are part of this agreement.
18. Each user must register only once. Additional accounts will be disabled.
19. Each seller shipping birds must follow all laws and use USPS (Post Office) approved shipping containers approved for that type of bird. The container must be in good condition and filled with no more than the container's specifications allow. If unapproved containers or containers in poor condition are used or if the containers are overfilled, the seller is subject to permanent suspension. 
20. Parrots and similar cage birds, including eggs from these birds, are prohibited from sale on chickbid.com
21. Want ads are prohibited on chickbid.com.
22. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the user.  Please review your home state's tax laws and consult a tax professional before using the site.
